For this course students were given a building and asked to reproduce detialed drawings they collected through research. This enabled us to understand the various components of a building and how the various systems come together to function as a whole. The building I chose was the Bienecke rare book Library byy Gordon Bunshaft, located in Illinois.
The next phase was to pick upon a certain detail and design its detail ourselves. The change I made was to the facades of the library. The precast concrete changes shape to establish visual movement across the facade as opposed to its regular and static nature.
The final phase was to create a complete package as though it was in preperation for construction documents. This excercise taught us how to link different drawings in a particular manner and introduced us to  the basic layout of construction drawings.
